Sheila Hegwood

Sheila is a retired Army officer originally from Raleigh, MS. In 2020 she moved with her spouse, Dennise, from Honolulu to Zion Crossroads to be closer to their two grandkids. She enjoys golfing, gardening, and cycling.

What is God doing in your life?
God is allowing me the time to reflect on the importance of compassion, being grateful, and serving my community.

What excites you most about serving as an officer?
Growing up and to this day, I have witnessed how my parents devotedly served in their church. I saw first hand how the church and its community supported our family through good and bad times. I am proud to call First Presbyterian my church and strongly desire to serve Christ by supporting our congregation and surrounding community.
