Diane Brownlee

Diane joined First Presbyterian Church with her husband, Richard Brownlee in 1976 after they moved to Charlottesville to each pursue their careers in teaching, Diane in the public schools and Richard, “Dick", at UVA. Both of their daughters were raised in our church. They participated in Youth Group and one was married at First Pres. Both Diane and Dick have been involved in our church and love the congregation.

What is God doing in your life?
God has always been a big part of my life. Being brought up in a church provided a sound foundation for my faith. Currently I feel that God and my faith have helped me navigate retirement and aging.

What excites you the most about serving as an officer?
One of several things which excite me about serving in our church is the opportunity to grow and share in my faith and trust in the Lord.
