Kirk lives in Earlysville with Darlene and two beautiful German Shorthaired Pointers. The three kids grew up and ran away, the dogs stayed. The family came to First Presbyterian in 2014 at the behest of the teenagers wanting to be in a larger Youth Group, one not led by their parents. Professional aspirations keep him heavily involved with logistics and supply chain management when he is not walking the dogs.

What is God doing in your life?
He does not say much but is giving me “the look” and patience to come to a deeper understanding.

What excites you the most about serving as an officer?
Personal growth is hard to achieve in midlife without a commitment to serve in one capacity or another. I sense that Deacons know how to go about it the right way.
