Jan has been a member of First Presbyterian for more than 36 years, raising both her children in the church with her husband, Bob, a native of Charlottesville. She has been a nurse for 46 years. She recently retired, but returned part time. She has served as a Deacon and had the opportunity to participate in a mission trip to Mexico.

What God is doing in your life?
Growing my faith and comfort in God's love during the turmoil in our country and world the past few years. Also, providing joy in my life through new opportunities, and time with family.

What excites you most about serving as an officer?
Getting to know more about the church and working alongside of other officers.
