Jim was born in Charlottesville. He and his wife, Amy, moved back to Charlottesville in 1991 and joined FPC in 1992.

What God is doing in your life?
We are preparing to sell the house where we have lived for close to 30 years; I probably will work only a few more years at the job I've performed since shortly before we bought the house. These prospective changes move me to scowl and fuss, but with 20/80 hindsight (still MUCH better than my foresight), I can see that the Lord has blessed me much and tried me little. I look forward to sharing blessings with you all ... trials if necessary.

What excites you most about serving as an officer?
I look forward to working with the other officers and staff.
