Lori grew up on a farm in Iowa with five siblings and very supportive parents; her entire family (including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins – pretty much everyone) were members of the Reformed Church in America. She and her husband moved frequently in the early years of their marriage, but she has now been in Charlottesville for 30+ years and is a retired teacher and real estate agent.

What is God doing in your life?
God is trying to teach me patience – not an easy task – and challenging me to grow in my daily spiritual practices.

What excites you most about serving as an officer?
