Mark Roberson

(2027)

Mark and his wife, Ellen joined FPC in 2004. Mark currently serves on the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee and previously served many years on the Nominating Committee and as a Deacon on the New Member team. He and Ellen are the proud parents of a daughter, one of the church’s new confirmands!

What is God doing in your life?
God reminds me to open my eyes and see, really see through the noise and chaos of life and this world. God reminds me to stop and remember. Matthew 7:7-8 comes to mind. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and
you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

What excites you the most about serving as an officer?
I fondly remember my time as a Deacon and in my past work at First Pres. I believe our work together as a church matters. It matters personally and to our mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus. I look forward to what is behind the doors as we knock.
