Shelley is a long-time resident of Charlottesville, where she raised her two sons. She served as a Deacon at First Pres from 2018-2020. She has participated in the Tuesday Night Soup Kitchen Prep and numerous other food related church outreach events over the past several years. Shelley enjoys sharing life, laughter, and much love with her two adult sons, her daughter-in-law, two incredibly adorable granddaughters, and her beau, Terry.

What is God doing in your life?
God reminds me daily to trust in the path that He has created for me and to give thanks for every breathe, every challenge and every blessing throughout the seasons of my life.

What excites you the most about serving as an officer?
As an officer, I look forward to serving our church community and its mission partners with passion and heart.
